Just Google it…

Some people would argue that having all the world’s information “right here and right now” hasn’t made the overall population any wiser. And I believe that it may be true.

However nobody can deny that it has changed things forever and it will never stop doing it. And as we are still trying to figure out the many  different impacts on our regular life, some people is already counting the benefits of it.

In this case, the designers of the game mechanic of “Who wants to be a millionaire” definitely didn’t see it coming, and now the skills are all about typing faster rather that knowing more…

Will this thing be making us all richer in the long run?

This shows how mechanism design is often a cat and mouse game. The designers of the show will need to change how they work with “call a friend”. Will the friends now need to be in the studio to stop them using the web?
